Since server is down I decided to have some fun on single player. Finally got round to working out how to make mob spawners spawn things other than pigs. Wonder if this works on smp....

It's all natural haha.
On the floating cactus picture, I placed a block of sand under it broke it. Two cacti blocks dropped.
On a second test, the sand block disappeared and turned into a cactus block.
