This happened to my son. I assumed He was mistaken..... Until it happened to me too.

I used my force axe in my storage room (thought it was a normal axe). It removed 12 full chests worth of things.

I began placing "temp" chests and tossing things back in as fast as I could. It took me about a minute to get 2/3 of the entities rechested. Sadly though, as I went to walk into the last remaining pile, it all despawned!

Now, i know there is a 5 minute grace period. This was not even 2 full minutes. I checked the clock when it happened to make SURE i didn't go too slow.

So yeah. A good 1/3 out of 12 chests I had just despawned. As my son had the same experience, i'm wondering if the high level of entites caused this glitch?

Anyways, MY lesson had been learned. Force axe is for trees only XD

It's possible. With the server resources as they are. However it may be more likely that the myst worlds need cleaning like on FTBultimate. I remember this happening while we were all experimenting with it. I did quite a heavy amount of myst last night probably around 20 ages. It could very well be a mixture of all the above reports from players. Only broonie will know when he see's the logs.

lol yeah, same applies to power drill on area mode ;P

edit: With speed on every force armour piece you can break almost anything by hand; stone, ores (including cobalt), leaves at colossal speed etc

Modded servers don't quite run on Bukkit, but rather a compatible wrapper.

These wrappers reduce entity lifetime to help reserve server memory and sustain performance.
