Hello, I notice alot of members, especially veteran members, have cool avatars and signatures. When I try to upload mine however, I get an error message.

"The file did not upload. Filename: 'ap_3281_58606_1205091349125_160.bmp'
Error: Either destination folder does not exist or is not writable. (chmod 777) [/var/www/crazy-fools.co.uk/f/public/avatars]"

Is anyone able to help with this? Much appreciation in advanced.

Try a Jpeg instead of a bitmap (bmp) file.

tried png/jpeg/bmp.

Steps ive taken:
1: Download all of these file types and tried to upload from my own computer. (aka browse, choose file)
2: Use the url for all of these filetypes and choose the option to upload directly. Both methods for all file types gives me this error
