hey guys! recently I've been in a very creative mood. so much that ,when i was mining in a cave a few hours ago, i started to recite a story while i was mining! I have remembered most of it and wanted to turn it into a small story. Enjoy!
Chapter 1- the sense of FearI have never realized why so many people don't like caves. Is it the constant threat of monsters? Or the chance of burning all your stuff in lava? Or the stories and myths of the unholy Herobrine, scaring the Minecraftians away from the depths? I may never realize. I've always enjoyed this sense of fear, it keeps me on my toes and i always expected the unexpected. The thrill and the adrenaline rush is what keeps me underground, my iron pick forever smashing into the rock and ore.
but it did'nt expect the reason why i was locked down here, As i was cheerily picking away at the rock. All i remember was the hissing, the explosion and the falling, the endless falling.
chapter 2-The deep ravine When i woke up, the first thing i felt was surprise. how was i still alive? i could have sworn there was boiling hot magma beneath me. I looked up to see a small column of water, of course! The creeper explosion (which i was fairly certain it was) must have uncovered a water spring! I lay my back against the tough obsidian rock which had formed beneath me and let the water currents lap at my body. Still rejoicing the fact i was still alive, i got up and placed a torch on a nearby rock. to my surprise there were no creatures or monsters in the dark area like i had suspected , but instead, a long black crack above the cave i had fallen from. I had fallen into a ravine its minerals in the walls sparkling and the magma radiating light through the tunnel. I had hit the jackpot! a lot of rare and useful materials form in these cracks in the earth. Brownish dull iron pieces and sparkling red electric redstone and shimmering gold. Instantly my miner instincts took place and i jumped up!
and i realized my leather tunic had been destroyed.
Chapter 3-Exploration In about 5 minutes i had set up a workstation, a small wooden table to form the tools and a furnace to melt down the metals, Complete with a wooden chest to store some useless c**p. With some Iron i had mined from the wall and smelted i had created a new chest plate to replace my tunic. with a new pickaxe in hand and a sword in a holster i set out into the ravine. As i pulled materials from the earth, a sense washed over me. A sense i know well. The fear. A Smile washed over my face, i hadn't felt this in a long time. I turned around and noticed a grayish matter of bones on a platform above me. 'Too easy' i thought to myself as i pulled a bow from back and loaded and arrow. Before it new it the skeleton was falling into the magma beneath it and burning to death. I placed to bow on my back again and continued. It wasn't long before i reached a cave network at the end of the ravine. i went inside and placed a torch down. Oh wow. The cave was loaded with materials from redstone to coal to iron and gold. it was one of the biggest ore deposits i had seen. the very cave glowed with the treasures. But the real surprise was at the end of the cave. A light blue, shimmering crystal. 'No way' i thought to myself but it was true. Diamonds
Chapter 4-Recklessness I charged full force to the treasure smacked against the wall and tore it apart with my pickaxe. The crystals fell out of the rock and landed on the floor. I took a moment to admire them before scooping them up and putting them into my backpack. This expedition was ending now! i saw a cave branch off to my right and charged into it it was already lit up meaning people had been there before! A cobble stone bridge across lava! more human interaction! i ran on the bridge, and it was the biggest mistake i made. I misjudged my body turning and fell face first into the magma. As i burned i knew what was going to happen. in the world of minecraftia there is a strange energy in which when a body dies ,somehow, the spirit is placed in a direct copy of the body. it grants a minecraftian eternal life at the cost of losing everything he had with him or her. I felt my spirit slipping away and then a bright light
Chapter 5-Ignorance is bliss, knowing is a curse My eyes shot open and i was where i thought i would be. My items had disappeared from my backpack, my armor had gone. I was lying down in my bed. I got up exactly where i was the day before. I wearily opened the door and sat down in my chair. i had the last slice of cake (which my friend Timeno had given to me), opened my record box and placed 'blocks' in the jukebox. I lay back and thought to myself.
Chapter 6-A lesson learnedI had never realized why so many people don't like caves. Is it the constant threat of monsters? Or the chance of burning all your stuff in lava? Or the stories and myths of the unholy Herobrine, scaring the Minecraftians away from the depths? In my case its the lava for what i realized is that if the player has rare materials on him his innate senses will always be off. My slip up was merely just that though for i know that however much i lost and what little i gained i know one thing for certain. That i'll be going down there that very next day.
Well guys i hope you liked my story
Plz note that some points of the story are emphasized a little. I would like to thank droid225, minecraftblock, shrapnell, blazeboy and all the other awesome people that were on which made the night a very fun night indeed
