NOYOU: so, we have a deal?
THISRANDOMGUY: im not selling (translation: idiot)
i most certainly have, many times, especially in the past month, and it annoys me to the core of my bones.
this is exeptionally bad Tradesmanship! if you sell your wares, whatever it would be, dont be a lazy bum and NAME the PRICE you want for your ware!
if i want to buy an item, i am willing to pay an acceptable price for it. i dont want to start guessing the value of the item you are selling, just to get completely ignored or called an idiot if i guessed wrong on YOUR price!
furthermore, there is nothing bad or scary about haggling or discussing the price further. let me give you an example of good tradesmanship:
THISRANDOMGUY: Selling item X! anyone interested?
NOYOU: i want to buy 4 stacks of X. what is your price?
THISRANDOMGUY: i want 8 diamonds for it.
NOYOU: dayum, i dont have that many diamonds, however, i have 6.
THISRANDOMGUY: sorry, my price is 8 diamond ///// no probs bro, you'll get it for 6. i got 30 doublechests in my home anyway ////// well then you can get 3 stacks for 6d.
easy as 1 2 3.
lol i gotta admit i agree with you. if ur selling you should have price which ur selling at instead of 'i dunno whats ur offer'.

I dont think so MZL kahr and a few of us (me included) have plans to build a new state-of-the-art Shopping Complex. This will free up space near spawn AND keep your beloved lake MZL, which i do agree with

Hehe this thread is an Indirect/Unintentional dig at me methinks. Allow people to sell how ever they want to. And the 'Make me an offer' is to see what they think it is worth, if I am unsure on its value.

someone once asked me if I wonted a stack of wood, I said yes and asked for how much and guess whta he sias..... 6 diamonds! XD it really pisses me off aswell
If you are actively selling specific things, you really should have a price in mind. However, if someone is offering to buy something, and you are willing to sell, it is not unreasonable to ask them to make an offer, since it was not your intention to sell in the first place.
