What kind of mods?

I was just wondering what kind of mods we could have on while playing on the server without harming anything, would mods like a minimap or something even bigger like redpower that I want to use on singleplayer and not on the server affect anything or not be permitted?

Mods giving you an unfair advantage are disallowed. Redpower would require the server to install the mods, and we're not doing that. A mod like a minimap is allowed, as long as said minimap doesn't show ores or elaborate cave views that would make it unfairly easy for you to mine ores.
If there's a specific mod you're curious if would be allowed, just ask. -
Would it be possible to recomend what mods are currently being used by players that are ok. This may help Mitigate any unwanted bans, and help players search for the right mod.?I know

The rule is that we discourage the use of all mods, so if want 0% of being banned, don't use any.

Thats what i always thought and went a full 9months Protesting agains Modd'd Mincraft, but with mini maps and macro's i got the feelign that other players had an unfair advantage over me, so i jumped on the minecart.Oh i am confuded Broonie, and i bet you think ill of me already after the other days Debate. :S

You can be banned without appeal for the use of any mods. By using mods you accept this risk.

If anyone wonders why? Mods are created by a third party which neither Mojang or Us have control over. As such they can cause issues for the server (have done in the past). As such they are banned. Use them at your own risk.

Ok, thank you. I will be sure to have a separate .Jar file for my modded Minecraft for single-player use.
