The general consensus seems to be that the last podcast was the best so far, and, technical problems aside, it was the best from a production standpoint. So, with that in mind, we're making a slight change to the way we do the podcast.

The format of the show will probably still change as we get better at this, but guests are invited by default, unless we're doing something special.

We start recording on Saturday nights some time between 9 and 10pm UK time, and we'll let you all know if that's not the case one week. If you want to be on the podcast, just let one us know near recording time, and be on TS, preferably before we start, but not essentially.

If we get lots of people wanting to be on, we'll have to rotate people or something, but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it. Also, if people want to be brought into the podcast room just to listen and join in text chat but not talk (maybe you don't have a mic or have a mortal fear of your own voice being heard) that's fine too. A live audience might be nice.

Just ordered myself a headset, as for some reason the mic on my webcam keeps making background sounds like I'm playing music, when I'm not. When I get it I'll see you all on the TS channel

The cooking pot box and the giant bottle of pennies serve a very important purpose indeed. I have discovered that, when placed a few micrometers apart, they are affected by something akin to a Casimir Force, that locks them together, almost inseparable.

In short, the cooking pot box has proved most useful for putting things on top of. And I can't move the bottle, because it's stuck to the box.
