i was playing on the server and i went in the sky world portal and then i lagged out before i got to the other side and now i cannot join

same here getting error 503

A recent exploit was discovered in the Minecraft authorization servers, which allowed players to log in to SMP servers as any account they wished. Mojang has temporarily taken down the login servers while they work to eliminate this exploit. It is not expected to take long.

There was a confirmed attack of an issue with the login servers where anyone could log in as anyone, e.g. even me. Login server's for the whole of minecraft were taken down and this has now been fixed.
