earlier today a new player called diggingman45 came into my shop at spawn and attacked me by shooting arrows at me. I eventually had to kill hime to save my life and then told him not to fight at spawn. later on Rayonaboat was also attacked and shortly after adrenaylnn was also attacked.

Rayonaboat was then also attcked again, but this time fully killed by diggingman.
Megabannafrong also witnessed this and managed to get a screenie of the kill.

Once this has been sorted, it is free to be closed

There may be a reason for this but if broonie was on at the time these screenshots were taken why not tell him?

broonie wasn't on at that time but some time later. he only was on like 5mins or so, didn't manage to talk to him.
Here is another screenie from about ~2 hours later (16:45 gmt). You don't actutally see diggingman45 in the second screenie but those missing hearts are cause he started hitting me (again). Killed him seconds later (sorry...)
Told aconan later when he came online about digging. He watched closely but didn't take any immediate action - when watched digging really can behave

I think that THIS image is enough to convict this player of griefing, as the kill is clearly shown in the chat area.

I know hes greifing and attacking players but if i joined a new server and was being constantly stalked and pestered i would probably be pretty pee'd. This has been happening a lot recently i might add. Also broonie is clearly on in one of the screenshots and by the looks of things he has just joined.

Firstly: She said Broonie was not on when digging man was fighting.

Secondly: I've seen lots of these incidents; people don't flock around new users unless they start trouble, instead maybe 1 or 2 would come around to help the person out. You'd need to have severe anger problems to be bugged by that.

When diggin man started the issues that day, i helped him out by taking him out into the wilds to "find his home". To keep him away from spawn for a while until a mod came online.
He didn't attack Techmav around his farm when Tech came online, possibly because i was there and for some of the time Aco was watching him. He was also rather demanding in his tone. I'd say this is the actions of a kid more than an outright griefer. This said obviously any age are under the same rules.
I'd consider giving him a warning and continue to monitor his progress. (Without player swarming).

Also from what i've seen when a new player joins people generally go to spawn (clearly visible by the live map)

But this has been dealt with so im not saying any more on this, no point.
