I'm not sure if this will be relevant to anybody but me yet, but here it is. A patch has just been applied to the ftb server which fixes a bug in redpower.

To alter the behaviour of advanced redpower components, such as for instance redpower computer components, sortrons etc, you need to shift + right click with a sonic screwdriver. This is not possible in the current version of redpower for technical reasons.

I have created a patch for this oversight so everything now works as the author intended. Since the bug isn't recorded in the ftb wiki (though its all over the minecraftforum redpower thread) you wont even notice the difference (I hope).

So feel proud to be playing on the only mc1.4.7 ftb server in existence with fully functional redpower!
