At the lava facility in the nether I elected to upgrade to the "advanced pump" billed as less glitchy than the IC one by pumping flowing liquid not just source blocks.
Howver it's simply emptied a large cube of lava and then the server crashes when said vertical lava walls are interacted with. It might be worth making it uncraftable, any thoughts ?
Simply removing blocks but now things "seem" to crash when I log in (I was in the ex-facility). I'll not log back in tonight just in case it is in fact me, don't want to interfere with everyone's night. I'll check back tomorrow, but if someone could let me if it's my location or if not then what's causing it, I'd appreciate it
Not aware of any crashes caused by this.
Squaffle has joined the server

Yup, OK. Squaffle bok'd the server.
yup, was hoping not but looks like it's somehing there. Sorry; glad I abandoned things last night then.
I'll not login till I get the ok; I'm guessing it's something to do with lava flow or the pumps; what confuses me is that when this login-crash started I wasn't touching lava, just removing machinery and blocks :/
there's a warp "lava" to the location if that helps, I guess you'll have already found location from console though . .
It's not crashing the server, but instead causing intense CPU usage.
It may be to do with something with the volume of the lava in the Nether.
Well I plan to be moving from the area at minimum; much less problematic system planned for next. If it's hogging CPU I may use a farm to gen water sources and set/entomb the lava when I move. Should I ? (and this mean it's now safe ?)
If it's small volumes, it should be ok.
I haven't been able to make the area safe as of yet, currently studying for final exam tomorrow so it'll have to wait for a bit as it'll take a while to sort out. Apologies.
Did you try logging on and immediatly warping away? Or does the crash happen too fast? I'd help if i can but am afraid if i'd warp there it would just crash too
Someone else has just logged on in the affected area, fix will commence as soon as possible
