I have a friend who only logs on the server when we hang out will I get in trouble because we log in from the same spot?

I don't see there is any rule breaking so you are safe ... unless you were saying the "same spot" as same IP. If anyone of you were breaking the rules ... all account from same IP will be in trouble. I think that still apply.

I dont have an alt account. My friend and I are on a trip so hotel wifi and then house wifi. No idea how ips work (I think its system adresses) My friend also doesnt have wifi at his house hence why he comes over to play on the server.

We have several gals and guys here who are brother/sister, husband/wife or parents/children. So they most likely always log in with the same client ip.
As long as its different MC accounts and people playing i don't see any problems.

Different MC accounts = no problem
