Ok spawn update.

1. Everything is going quite smoothly even though i've been stuck at work mostly. So thank you to all who have been helping.

2. The arena is coming along very nicely. Great work Jordan.

3. Info house is almost complete by the sounds of things thank you Void.

4. On wednesday all members wishing to create a store at spawn will be able to open petitions to construct one on the second ring. At this time i'm estimating around 10 large store plots and maybe 5-10 stall fronts.

5. As of next Monday i will be opening new spawn via portal at old spawn for all members to start constructing homes. Now these homes will be in the form of boats. so get practicing everyone . (That includes me, i'm useless at building ships)

6. Also a note to all players. There is an island very close to new spawn, around 800 blocks away. this is the Umbrella island shared with Kobey, Micke, Adren and squaffle. The island has been claimed so please dont invade
we dont have any cannons to fend you pirates off lol.

7. Thank you everyone, my plan was to jump head on into the spawn until they changed my shifts to constant 3pm-11pm. It's not exactly easy to maintain creativity/time for the construction required. I finish work this week so as of this weekend i'll have tons of time to dig my heels into kobey'ing up the new spawn .

Lastly. Anyone wishing to build a store please post up what you would like to sell/supply. (Also please do not use vendors as they seem to be causing a lot of problems, i know this is a pain but we'll need to figure something out)

If anyone has the same ideas for a store, maybe consider joining together to increase the amount of available players for selling items.

Well gambling is not illegal in the UK however there is a possibility even if it's for ingame items that it may fall under "underage gambling" law for anyone under the age of 18, also for some US players gambling online "is" illegal regardless of the country the server is hosted in. Could be a tricky area of thinking. I agree this one is down to broonies choice. I like the idea but wary of the legalities.

I have a feeling though that this law only includes games that you can buy/trade/sell IGcredits for real money.

we can even put restrictions on how long you can gamble for! and how much you spend!

Was another idea was put a betting area in the arena so we could bet on who would win. it would be relatively easy to program I think. say one uranium would be equal to x diamonds, whoever wins gets all, if more than one person wins, its split.

Yea, i really do love the idea of this. Come to think of it. Aco built a gambling machine in old tekkit spawn. So... yeah i dont see a problem with this.

Anyway, won't be able to build tonight tomorrow i will though, the server is down isn't it? you want to build then?

Will all store owners please keep in mind, while there are no specific store boundaries please keep your constructions reasonable.

Also you may extend your walls down to the sea bed and use the basement.

Please also discuss store ideas together to prevent duplicate stores from opening.

The store ring is the ring behind info house. Also note that the Arena takes up two ring spaces so we have 3/4 of the ring for stores.
