Just want to post here that on 2 seperate occastions that ive had items vanish from my inv when i return to the server. Today i hadm my diamond pick axe vanish and its the only one i had, to make it worst it was the mother of pickaxes with the enchantments i had. Has any one else had this? I just logged off as normal and then returned 10mins later and it was gone ::(

Broonie is there anychance i could 3 diamonds to replace it?? lol its a long shot but im struggling here lol

This has been happening to me and I know someone else mentioned it in FTBm.. I had a crystal pendant just vanish when I logged on, then I had 5 buckets vanish too.. It's weird and random.. Also one day my boots disappeared, but I got a Cleaver like the one I already have but before I added upgrades.. So it's some kind of server "hick up" that probably resets some items in your inventory from a point in time you had them before..

ok so this is becoming very annoying.. items keep vanishing from my inventory.. some of them come back, some don't..
then like one item triples with ghost copies and those disappear..
but I just lost the thaumcraft scanner, staff of travelling and clear glas.. then all except the scanner returned after 5-10 mins

similarly, dupes may disappear, so dont throw anything out until after youve relogged. If you think you might mix dupes and real items up, try putting then in a chest for the time being, sometimes, the game suddenly thinks a stack of stone is a pickaxe and reverts to stone later. it's all quite confusing~

I can say i've never had this problem apart from the Ghost dupe item issue. however closing the inventory with the item in your hand will toss the original on the floor so be wary of when that happens. Apart from that i haven't noticed anything else with this odd bug.

It misbehaves in various ways. Ive had it on the last version, but not on this one.

I must admit, I've not seen this bug yet myself. It might be worth keeping a note if you are doing stuff between when the server backup process starts and finishes - as it takes a little while to complete (about 10 minutes last time I was on when it happened, from start to finish). If you do anything in that time and then what you've done goes wrong, then it's probably a backup issue. If not it's probably something really random o.O

one of these bugs happened twice to me when I was interacting with stuff in our mystcraft room.. I was opening the mystic. writing desk (I think that's the name) and a locker above it and I got I think the ghost dupe bug.. I'll try to recreate that situation again.. aldo I don't know what item I held or did I interact with something by accident too..

Im glad im not imagining it, but not good either haha! Yeah its the first time its happened to me. I have already juggled my inv around so who knows, but il keep that in mind ^_^

I was in a cave mining, but didnt have the pick in my hand, it wasnt even in the hotbar which is even more strange haha
