I having trouble bringing up the waypoint/minimap menu, ive tried pretty much all the keys....any suggestions?

Try enabling one of the minimap mods first:P I think all of em turn off automatically when you update the pack.
so either enable opis(for mapwriter),rei's or zans minimap.

But not all of them like I did as you'll get into a right mess.

I just use OPis and Zan's They go well together as long as youre willing to double-tap N when going for the large map. Zan's is nicer as mini cos it shows you where mobs are.

If you are using the default settings u will have Zan's enabled, it has a conflict on "M" key.. U have to change the railcraft locomotive key (bound to M) to something else, then u will get "M" key back for map..
I use Zan's and Journey map since it gives me the option of viewing a large area and I can turn off the minimap I want so they don't overlap..
Also I like to have waypoints that's why I keep them both on..
Never used Opis, but I know it shows some very useful info on chunks (what is loaded etc..)
Also default key for setting a waypoint should be "C"

There is a key bind for it now called "VoxalMap Menu" change that to what you wish. Thats the Zans minimap menu bind.
