Not sure if anyone else experiences this but - The thaumcraft trees (Great wood), causes me lag in increasing amounts depending on how many trees are together.

I've got an unplayable bug which is really annoying.
Quite simply when I bring up my inventory, no matter if I click on an item with the left or right mouse button, or try dragging an item via "click and hold" of either mouse button, I get the same result ... the item gets thrown out in front of me like I'd just pressed "Q".
I've tried jabbing Q on my keyboard to see if that's the problem, and have also relogged. Any ideas?
I've heard thats a java issue, might try jabbing at that?

I've had that issue before too, Soul. Not on DW20 though, but it's probably a mod it has in common with the old pack causing trouble. Restarting the entire client should get it to work, or at least it has for me.
Edit: Or, yes, it might be a java issue. Should have read that response before replying. Either way, closing down minecraft completely and restarting it should work.
A note to all players on DW20, Please for the time being stay out of Twilight Forest and Mystcraft Age worlds (Using "link books" to teleport around the world or nether etc is still fine)
This isn't an order though it's a request. Twilight has been buggy and unstable for the server, Mystcraft age worlds can cause immediate crashes under certain circumstances. *looks sheepish* I had to get my player file reset... So take it from me and squaffle. Not worth the hassle of loosing your stuff "or" causing constant server crashes.
Thank you all. Hopefully we'll be able to use them again in the future.

just as a reminder, here's the known issues with mystcraft listed under mod description:
"Linking Book - it's rare, but sometimes your whole inventory is deleted when you change dimensions.
Inventory - Mystcraft can be fun,but who wouldn't want to spoil the Mystwagon? Inventory can sometimes be deleted time after time when you've entered a dimension you've never entered before.
Game - Some versions of Mystcraft will leak RAM memory can and or will also have block-update lag. Although, this is sometimes fixed and may happen randomly instead of happening every time you start up the game. NOTE: Newer versions of Mystcraft(1.6..4, 1.7.10) are the ones prone to these symptoms. Also, older ages that have been used for a while are more likely to start leaking RAM. It is also unknown whether or not all this is caused by certain mods being run with mystcraft but is very unlikely.
(crashes) Rarely when you make an age it can crash your game and you can not start up the world again without resetting you players position in the world. this bug also happens on servers and will crash the server."
since we got the cfuk plugin, the bc filler stopped being able to work completely (tested by both Piggles and me), it just turns red.. also a few other items are acting weird.. for example leads started popping off all the time, but visually seems like they are still tied to posts which didn't happen before.. bc quarry also started acting weird, looks like it's working, but actually does nothing.. at least one we tried to mine the wither skelly chunk in nether with..

don't disable it, just don't use it in game..
disabling it is probably what is causing your problem
also we are running dw20 1.2.1
ftb can be a bit wierd sometimes, much as it may not actually help I'd suggest actually deleting/uninstalling ftb then reinstalling it using only the 1.2.1 version. Though unlikely, it may have carried over a more up to date mystcraft if you've tried other versions of the pack.
is it just me or does the dynamic map not update?
see that's what I don't get; it shows some things like the built areas near spawn and some of the built things in other areas but doesn't update in other areas; may just be it's not changed for a while. Maybe it's a once a week thing.
my base, for example, didn't update for a very long time on map.. I also wondered what are the mechanics and when it;s done..
my guess is there are 2 modes for the way the map works, the 1st being when u want to draw all known chunks, since the world had been explored a lot this took a day or so do complete.
the 2nd mode, is live update, where the map detects changes and updates the map as needed.
haven't seen a wither skeleton in a while now....
Seems that rapid shift clicking inside an ME system (for me) can cause ungodly amounts of lag to other.
Tested this night by crafting a ton of compressed cobble, resulted in a kick of everyone but me.

Just a quick bug report: the IC2 Nano helmet sort of appears to be uncraftable (second time worked fine though with uncharged components so possibly "unrepeatable" or charge-state dependant). Its a client side bug only though, so with a crafting table you can still click on the empty space and the helmet appears. I don't know if the charge state is important, I succeeded using a discharged crystal and charged goggles.
I think the same bug was in Monster but server side too so the nano helmet really wouldn't craft at all, and as I understand it there is something to do with the "damage" levels being set incorrectly in the recipe so its impossible to get the parts to match.
There's a scary client-side inventory glitch I've seen at least twice that stuffs blocks into your armour slots. Its correct on the server so the armour reappears when you reload but it can mean you take damage or lose special abilities. I'm still not clear which mod triggers it though, but I'm assuming it is a block GUI issue.
IC2 has what I think is a bug, the Electric Jetpack seems to take damage as though it was a chest plate and can be destroyed by attacks. I've had two break while fighting monsters.

A couple of IC2 issues: the charge-pad MFSU appears to be incorrectly "sided", with items fed into the side going to the discharge slot as well as the charge slot. I haven't tried a regular MFSU yet.
An interesting and useful quirk is that the MFE appears to retain some charge when wrenched, about 3/4 it seems.
I'm disappointed that the terraformer appears to still have issues, the cultivation program seems to turn sand to dirt and grass but never actually plants anything. This makes it like an inferior version of irrigation. Previously it would plant a rich assortment of vegetation.
The mushroom program still makes mushrooms grow on top of mushrooms. Mushroom towers are still quite amusing but it would be nice to have a corrected version that left things actually looking like a mushroom biome.
The charge states of energy crystals are a bit off, it appears as if a new uncharged crystal has a different "damage" to one that has been charged and discharged.

A little Ender IO glitch: Soul vials stack if they have identical "souls" in, but the right-click action does not work as they don't automatically unstack. You can only use them one at a time.
Another thing, posted by an edit so I don't bump it but I should have posted this way back:
There's a bug in how a Smeltery interacts with a redstone comparator, if you have a comparator monitoring a drain and you break the controller it causes a null pointer exception. I think this might be a Russian Roulette bug in that if you are lucky your client will crash before the action reaches the server.
There is some circumstantial evidence it may cause map corruption even if you dodge the crash. NOT CONFIRMED.
IC2 construction foam seems to cause issues, it seems to get flaky after using up a whole backpack, so a bit here and there isn't an issue but after heavy use I get kicked due to timeouts. Things seem to settle down if I quickly leave the chunk with the foam. My advice is give it a cooldown after emptying the pack.
Things get really wierd if the CF backpack doesn't run out exactly but has less than a full "shot" left and the sprayer has foam in it, the server seems to get confused as to whether the foam was sprayed or not, it appeared and disappeared a few times. This does not happen if you use an empty CF sprayer, the pack empties correctly.
A used but empty CF backpack does NOT have the same ID as a newly crafted empty one. I haven't been able to get AE to refill one, though it will craft and fill new ones.
Steve's carts Cargo Distributor may have glitches:
Placing one caused an "internal server error", I was kicked but could log straight back in so no server crash. Also found that its configuration was lost once on logging out, but I haven't been able to repeat that bug, second time it remembered.
Apart from that the easiest way to halt a cart seems to be to set its engine priority to "disabled".
Also not a bug but be very careful with the drill tool, it has a very limited blacklist and will happily remove levers, switches, pipes etc so be sure to get your module toggler right.
