i want to add a public/community melon farm by spawn, free for anyone to harvest as long as they replant.
"take a melon, plant a melon"
but i'm not sure if it is allowed or if those areas are kept "wild" or as parks or what? i left a block with a sign by the wheat farm where i want to build it.

We actually did have a piston melon farm at spawn.After the grief at spawn though it became what is not the sleep hut.If you would like to make a new farm of sorts I don't see why you couldn't.Ill check where you want to make it on the live map but I don't see why not.

just north of the wheat field is where i was planning to make it
