Really? Is it just me or is noone able to get on?
Received an email this morning about a ddos attack occurring again. And some downtime may occur.
Stupid kids thinking they are hackers...
Just a question. Is the DDOS specifically at us? or the server we are on.

Might be a good move to change the ip, if it really is targetted directly at us..? Or at the least change the port?
Didn't we change the IP last time DDOSing was a problem?
Yeah, but since it's a public server, it's not hard to get the new IP address. Just domain to IP server.crazy-fools.co.uk and there's your new address to DDoS
Unless the host does some kind of proxy server/firewall setup, then this will continue to happen until the person doing it gets tired of doing it.

I was just curious as to whether is was Bukkit or DDoS. I guess the answer would probably be both then? or have you resolved bukkit and it's now just DoS?
Both - bukkits a work in progress and we can't expect everything to run smoothly. The DDOS seems to have calmed, so whether the servers improved I cannot observe, however I am planning a bukkit update tonight to see if it improves any issues.

I've not been able to connect for the last hour. keep getting "timed out" messages
Give me 15 mins or so, I'll try connect through my phone.
Its been down since 6am heh, well not down, just been reconfigured with a new IP under a new network.
