quite recently starting from 8 pm gmt, we have been experiencing epic chat and block lag, it came out of nowere and the server was completely fine before that, it could be quite possibly a ddos or somebody using hacks, i hope that this gets fixed soon and has nothing to do with the increase with 50 players [edit] the server just crashed and has an error i havent seen before "disconnected from server: socket error" or something similiar

He said he'd PM'd Broonie, and I wouldn't be surprised if the server going down was Broonie up to something.

It was a crash, most likely a bug/exploit/something introduced from 1.5 onwards.
