Short downtime will occur at 18:00 when bukkit and other features will be upgraded.

Link Account is already in, however its jailing functions have been disabled until Monday to give everyone a chance to link their accounts.

I recommend everyone to do this now, in case you have any troubles linking, and find yourself in a Jail on Monday.

How To Link:

Type in your Minecraft username and click Submit!
Collect your code, log onto the server.
In the server, type /linkacc 12345678
12345678 being replaced with your CODE.
If successfull, it will tell you were successfully linked.

Note: It is CASE SENSITIVE, and remember to check for differences between O [the letter] and 0 [the number]

If all goes well, I will be looking to implement link account this weekend.

It is important I make this aware as soon as possible, due to the long absence of the feature.

Link account was originally a feature to allow website-server communication and dis-allowed new users from building/destroying on the server.

This was a unique feature to CF | UK, as it was fully automatic and helped prevent griefing.

It is being re-implemented on the server shortly, however a beta link account is currently on the website.

It is recommended you link your account ASAP.

Linking invovles typing in your MINECRAFT username into the box, upon hitting submit you will recieve a 8 character unique code, which you will use to register yourself on the server once the feature is online.

Linking your account has removed the old features, however has introduced these ones:
- Find out who other in-game nicknames are on the website
- Allow to build outside the GuestJail

The GuestJail will be a limited area in which if you haven't linked your account, will be teleported to, and unable to escape.

Of course you will be able to build in there, however you will not be able to leave until you linked your account.

We're trialing a bukkit release on our main server just now, which means it has been upgraded to version 1.3

All those who upgraded can now connect to the main server once more.

Area52's TNT Zone has been wiped and changed to a 1.3 server, for those who couldn't wait to hit that update button.
