To transfer your items to a new map [in a nutshell]:

- Put your items into a SINGLE chest, then type /export
- Click your chest, your chest will turn into a dirt block (Having more than 8 items will charge you at 10g per additional item)
- Transfer to the new map by typing /transfer (Your gold will be capped at 500 and inventory cleared)
- Type /import, place a block, your chest will appear and the items will flood out of it!

Armour does transfer and please, do not /home in the new map.

Works good, but a word of warning; enchants do NOT carry across, so if you have a bunch of enchanted tools you were going to carry over in the chest, don't bother.

Also, some people get spawned under the world, causing a "player fell out of the world" message when they die. They lose their armor as well if this happens. Be prepared to either /top (VIP's only) or disconnect/reconnect if that happens to you.

I follow the guide above, but when I left-click on the chest, I get the response "Error has occured. WALL_SIGN mode disabled".
My chest is not locked.

Please. I need help.

Crap, I got my cheap stuff and completely forgot bout my 42 diamonds and such in QOTSA's underwater city D: Is there any way I could transfer back and spend the gold to transfer those over too? Please?

I don't think so Alpha. Broonie should be the only one capable of switching maps at will. Us mortals are stuck in whichever world we're stuck in.
