A guide containing instructions on how to do various sign and book colours and effects.
For Signs & Books
Colours : For signs: On the line of text you want the colours on type : #letter/number
For Books: on the page you want the colours type : §letter/number
The possible colours are:
EffectsFor signs : On the line of text you want the effects type : #letter
For Books: on the page you want the effects type : §letter
The possible effects are:

Only One question ... how do I type the squiggly character for book colours / codes?

You need to copy it then use Ctrl + V to paste it into the book,
The wiki says Alt + 2+1 (on numpad) workd but not for me
