If I'm not mistaken, vanilla ender chests where added in minecraft 1.3
Tekkit it based on minecraft 1.2.5 so wont have them in.

(I think).

Yeah they're still craftable/placeable. Odd. Perhaps a message in game to let people know they're not to be used?

Is there an actual list of banned blocks/items somewhere? I don't think I noticed it in the server rules.

I was wondering that. I think apart from Enderchests its content from Equivalent Exchange and Computercraft, and all the "Chunk Anchor" blocks.

I don't think we need another TNT type, there seem to be enough ways to make stuff go boom alrady.
