Clean server to perminent server

Sorry, but how will you combine two worlds? Will current 1.7.1 server be moved to the empty ocean location?

I believe what Broonie means is that you will just log onto the new server (i.e. 1.8), but will be able to use a portal at spawn to go back to the 1.7.10 server map

Is there any news or a timeframe for merging the clean/temporary 1.8 server into the main one?
Don't want to sound impatient, i know such things take time and probably a lot of effort for broonie.
It's just that i havn't played much in the last weeks because i did wait for the merge to happen. Seeing that the merge takes a bit longer i think about returning to the clean server again, but just not sure if its worth it at the moment to continue building anything there.
Any news on that topic would be nice, no matter in which direction

It seems like its there. Wasnt there on the temp, but there is a small 1.8 genned world attached to the 1.7
/warp newspawn for the 1.8, oldspawn for 1.7 Youd probably know better than I do if it's what you mean

It seems like its there. Wasnt there on the temp, but there is a small 1.8 genned world attached to the 1.7

Yes i know that one but still thanks Chista. Even built a home there already but that is outside current map borders, unfortunately.
The upgrade to 1.8 has been very painful as far as i got it and this is part of the reason i'm asking which map will persist.

CFUK at christmas, such a busy pace.
The staff and admin thrown all over the place.
In time for new year, mugs up, mugs down.
The time is soon, but dont frown.
CFUK will be back and about.

I will say, certainly not my best attempt at post 12 hour shift poetry, sounds more like a bad attempt at making peoples eyes bleed.
Anyway, December is a bit mad sometimes so we'll see how things go in January. Real life should quiet down some and we can get on with tweaking CFUK.
