DW20 - Automatic casting in Tinkers Construct

For anyone who missed this you do NOT need a redstone clock operating the seared faucet, just replace the faucet with your preferred fluid transfer device and add an item transport to remove the cast items.

I say this because I've tried the redstone method and its a bit flaky, also I was told once that that redstone state changes cause network traffic so a device that needs a steady redstone on-signal is preferable to something that needs a clock.

So far I've tried buildcraft wooden pipes and Thermal dynamics ducts. The downside with the wooden pipe is some fluid tends to remain in the pipe, also the pipe stores energy so it will sometimes grab some fluid when you don't want it to. On the other hand ducts can be difficult to reverse if you have to clear an incomplete cast.

Some more Tinkers Construct notes, this time from Community Choice, though I might back-check this on DW20

It turns out that some of the Destabilised Redstone recipes do work, but you have to use coloured redstone blocks. Regular redstone melts to molten redstone which makes "redmetal". Coloured redstone is hard to melt though, I needed pyrotheum to melt it. I'm not sure but I think you can melt pyrotheum dust in a smeltery. Ten dust for 1 bucket though compared to 4 for magma crucible.

You could fill an energy cell frame by putting it in a casting basin, but oddly enough it doesn't work for fluxduct
