Feed The Beast Kits
squaffle, Fri Oct 09 2015, 04:48PMAnyone know what the progress is with the feed the beast kits ? There was a lot of excitement about getting portal crystal along with a few other things via them. They've been added to \kit but they don't actually give you anything.

No, but I mentioned it to draze and it doesn't sound like it's a simple fix; some kind of snag with vanilla vs modded items that there isn't much support for online. Perhaps there's some other kind of way we could introduce portal crystal into the world ?

I thought generally the workaround was that Vanilla items could be referenced by name in configuration files but modded items had to be listed by their numeric item ID.
I think it might be worth looking at some other way to bring alternative items into play such as setting up a "shop", or as a last resort just brute-force gifting it.

I don't know enough about the plugins the server uses for the kits. I know draze was taking down the item numbers when he was initially preparing the kits at least so I think it's some other problem
