Furthermore, if there are enough players on the roster I will add a 7th place 8thplace etc until each player gets a prize, especially the first gladiators to fall ( 0-1 win/loss record )

Sorry I accidentally made a mistake with the placement of the horse armors for the prizes. I'll write the corrected list below.

6th Place Prize = 1 Emerald, 1 Diamond, 64 coal & 64 redstone, 16 cooked potatoes
5th Place Prize = 3 Emeralds 3 Diamonds, 128 Coal, 128 redstone, 32 cooked potatoes, & 1 Saddle
4th Place Prize = 5 Emeralds 5 Diamonds, 192 coal, 192 redstone, 48 cooked potatoes & 1 Name Tag
3rd Place Prize = 7 Emeralds 7 Diamonds, 256 coal, 256, redstone, 64 Potatoes & 1 Iron Horse Armor
2nd Place Prize = 9 Emeralds 9 Diamonds, 320 Coal, 320 redstone, 80 Cooked Potatoes & 1 Golden Horse Armor
1st Place Prize 18 Emeralds 18 Diamonds, 500 Coal, 500 redstone, 128 cooked potatoes, & 1 Diamond Horse Armor.

^^ This is the 100% accurate prize list, it may be improved in the future, however there will be no lessening of the prizes given, if anything there will be an increase.

When version 1.9 becomes available, I JohnnyBoy420 shall host a series of 19 tournaments whereby competitors will fight against one and other in 1vs1 matches, to crown a champion.

After reading through, if you are interested please comment on this forum saying you wish to compete so that I can schedule you for the 1st tournament + following tournaments.

You will be given two numbers. One to indicate your Gladiator#, meaning the 1st person to input their name in response will be #1 and so forth, and more importantly your Rank# which will come into play once I can analyze all competitors performances & win/loss ratio after the first tournament & throughout their entire career starting with Tournament #2 -#19 etc.

The rules are very simple.

1. You are allowed to bring any type of enchanted Armor/Bow/Sword/Shield into battle
( Your signature gear ) However upon killing an enemy you are to allow that fallen gladiator to retrieve their gear in it's entirety, out of respect and so that they can compete in the following tournaments. Stealing an opponents gear and refusing to return it back to it's rightful owner will result in a permanent ban from that tournament and all following ones.

2. No potions of any type are allowed during combat, whether it be an enchanting potion, a healing potion or a damage potion, all are disallowed. Melee Combat only.

3. Adorn yourself with your signature armor & prized sword/bow/shield and attack your opponent until you are the only one remaining.

4. You may want to watch the other fights commencing while you are waiting for your turn within the grand chamber of my quartz pyramid wink

Regardless of how many competitors there are during a tournament, the standard pyramid structure of 1vs1 shall remain. Lets say for example 20 Gladiators are willing to compete. This is how the initial match up + and all following match ups will proceed, Providing these competitors were to win of course, the numbers in the example given are interchangeable depending on who wins/loses. The example given also dictates what will happen if there are an uneven number of combatants at one point during the tournament

5v13 {Chapter #5 }
5v17 (13) {Chapter #4}
3v5 9v13 (17) {Chapter #3}
1v3 5v7 9v11 13v15 17v19 {Chapter #2}
1v2 3v4 5v6 7v8 9v10 11v12 13v14 15v16 17v18 19v20 {Chapter #1}

Chapter #1 - 10 matches between 20 competitors,

Winners - ( players 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19 ) Achieve a 1-0 Win/Loss Record & Progress to Chapter 2 Allowing themselves to earn a higher tier of prizes.

Losers - ( players 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,29) are given a 0-1 Win/Loss Record & awarded with the 6th place prize of ( 1 emerald, 1 diamond, 64 coal ore, 64 redstone ore & 16 cooked potatoes )

Chapter #2

Winners (3,5,9,13,17) Achieve a 2-0 record & progress to chapter 3 and allow themselves to earn a higher tier of prizes

Losers (1,7,11,15,19) are given a 1-1 record and are awarded with the 5th place prize of { 3 emeralds 3 diamonds,128 coal ore, 128 redstone ore, 32 cooked potatoes & 1 saddle.

Chapter #3

At this point there are 5 competitors, an uneven number for a 1vs1 tournament, rendering one of those gladiators to enter "stasis" ( In this instance player #17 )and will compete against the winner of the 2 matches between 4 people in the next event, which is uneven as well forcing the original gladiator whom entered stasis, to come out of stasis to compete, and one of the remaining 2 victors from those who pass through chapter 3 will challenge him/her, rendering a new person into stasis for chapter #4

Winners - (5,13) Achieve a 3-0 Record & Progress to Chapter 4 allowing themselves to earn a higher tier of prizes.

Losers ( 3,19) Are given a 2-1 Record & are awarded with the 4th place prize of {5 emeralds, 5 diamonds, 192 coal ore, 192 redstone ore, 48 cooked potatoes, and 1 name tag}

Chapter #4

Now there are 3 competitors in total, #5 & #13 whom have 3-0 records. the other individual in stasis ( in this instance #17 ) has a 2-0 record, therefore that individual will compete against either #5 or #13 in this case while one of those two will enter stasis themselves for the first time to await chapter 5

Winner- (#5) Achieves a 4-0 record & progresses to chapter 5 to compete in the final match against the other individual in stasis for the Championship Title ( #5vs #13 )
( #5 - 4 Wins/ 0 Losses VS #13 - 3 Wins/ 0Losses )

Loser- (#17) Is given a 2-1 record and is awarded with the 3rd place prize of { 7 emeralds & 7 diamonds, 256 coal ore, 256, redstone ore, 64 cooked potatoes, & 1 golden horse armor. }

Chapter #5 ( Championship Fight )

The Winner and newly crowned WDSGC Tournament 1 Champion, will be awarded with the grand prize of { 1 Diamond Horse Armor, 1 emerald block, 1 diamond block, 500 coal ore, 500 redstone ore, 32 iron ingots, 32 gold ingots & 128 cooked potatoes
& a 5-0 record in this case

The Loser is given a 3-1 record and is awarded with the 2nd place prize of { 1 Iron horse armor, 320 coal ore, 320 redstone ore, & 80 cooked potatoes.

After a tournament has commenced I will give each competitor a rank#, which is where you stand relatively compared to the other division. For example if as detailed before the Champion of tournament #1 has a 5-0 record, they will be Rank #1 ( Second to None ). The individual who received second place in the 1st tournament Will Be Rank #2 ( Second To One ) Rank #3 will be players with a 2-1. Rank #4 will be players with a 1-1 rank etc. Because there will be many players with a similar Win/Loss Ratio, for example 0-1 1-1 2-1 etc they will share the same rank #, and must be victorious to emerge beyond and challenge a higher echelon of warrior.
