In case you dont know other community members and i have been trying to make a new spawn for vanilla. see http://www.crazy-fools.co.uk/p/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?31074.0
Anyway the actual spawning pad has 4 towers to it, 3 of which are unused.
I was thinking that it would be cool to put community members heads in these towers (along with a sign with a few words)! There would be 2 towers for community and 1 for staff.
If you are up for this you would need to get your head by yourself and then give it to me! *sorry i cant kill you any more takes to long*
PS - Broonie i dont see the issue but i understand you may want heads to be obtained only 100% legitimately. This would be a one off but if you dont want it, it wont go a head<- GET IT!
It seems this was an unrealistic target to finish it before spawn was released so it will be an ongoing thing. If you get your head and want it as spawn just give it to me!

not really my cup of tea/chai/coffee/hot chocolate/etc to get ganked over and over again... For that is what it would be. I can't handle PvP

You can dig up banned players heads by simply just mining
You can collect a players head upon killing them, although each attempt makes it less likely to drop heads if the user does not fight back -

When testing the code, very little heads were actually Steves, about 1 in 5. -

With the heads. in the inventory,when you mouseover the head, does it give the name of who the head is based?

yes, it does. The skin of the head also changes when the plaper changed their skin

Yeh what q said and you can wear them! but this would be more of a "museum?" of the community.

Broonie has also teased that he buried a notch head in the nether. Ive gone through four eff 3-4 and unbreaking 3 picks so far!

Ah, these banned heads will be great to impale onto stakes in the front yard of my castle. Maybe it will keep griefers and thieves away.

WorldEdit would be a non-exciting, easily abused way to do it. -
