Re: Land availability (Server Discussion) Posted on 02 Jan : 23:56
Eh. I guess the cat is out of the bag now. Damnnnn. I was hoping to secretly build the grand creeper and the creeper cathedral somewhere in the world, before spreading more rumours of the new religion cheesey.

Chista, be my guest. You can build as closely as you want. That was sorta like a hidden easter egg for travellers.

Oh My. It has began. The creepers are upon us.
There is no escape. We are all doomed!

ok, thanks for clearing that up.

Sorry, but how will you combine two worlds? Will current 1.7.1 server be moved to the empty ocean location?
Re: I need so advice from a PC Guru (Off Topic Discussion) Posted on 18 Oct : 10:18
If it's just for Minecraft. Then I think almost anythink with 4GB and atleast 6th series card can run it. I'm no pro, but I had a friend set me up with a good gaming pc.

Here's the link to the build. There are some parts that seem to be missing in the page. As I have Asus z971 and windows 8.1 which for some reason are not selected on this page. But with them it costs like 859£

But if you only need mostly for minecraft rather then any newer games, then I advise getting something cheaper. You could probably get a prebuilt one with right spec's for about 400£.

This seems to be a good summary of what has happened.

Discharge

That was informative. So now I wonder when we are moving to the Minecraft realms?
Seems like it's the only solution at this point. If bukkit needed craftbukkit to run plugins then how will Sponge or any other project actually do it better when they don't have the codes needed.

That was informative. Thanks for the link Spin.

Does anyone understand what's really happened with bukkit? From what I read it seems as if one developer decided to cancel it and the rest of the team seem to be continuing, but I don't know what's real.

boriseng

Mojang bought Bukkit and one Dev quit. Everything else seems to be a mess.

Ah, but you can turn the end into a winter wonderland.

Aconan

Really. That does sound cool.
