Its better if he releases them separately. The more stuff that goes into a patch, the more errors he will introduce. So if he releases pistons sooner, then by the time that the adventure stuff is released pistons shouldn't have many bugs left.

Notch made a big deal about how this is just pistons (and MAYBE a few bug fixes). I doubt adding an item into the game will break things like 1.6 did.

Since 1.7 will just be pistons, I don't think there will be many problems associated with them.

but even so even if the server needs an update i will be breaking out inv grid and pissing everywhere (piston+ing = pissing)

No fences on fences? Honestly, how stupid can Mojang get?
Why remove a "glitch" that has always been allowed in the game? Sounds more like removing a feature rather than a glitch.
