Im curious, what was everyones first ever house in crazy fools or single player?
whether its a 1x2 hole or a set up in a cave.
My first house was a 3x2 cobble house that shortly got blown up to oblivon soon after
i had a shack in a plains biom, not very big ,around 5x5ish
i still have developed my building of houses from there
My first house was a little hole in the ground.
Sand house, with a dirt roof I think
A giant cave home which extended into a sewer system and a mine. O.o
A small log cabin that turned into a large castle
First CFUK house: my water fountain which had a not so secret entrance to it. Building a replica to it now.
First single player house: A Sand box without a roof because i was confused to why the sand kept falling and i though other blocks might aswell... That was actually just a hole in the ground though...
My first build was a hole dug into the seabed, with fence walls, before fences were stackable, it then got rolled back that evening :/
When I first started on single player, my house was a 1x1 pillar in the air. Stood there until daylight, got so bored. After that i developed into a 10x10 hole in the side of a mountain
Mine was a snow and wood tower which turned into haven on crazy fools.
Single player was a wooden hut in the side of a huge mountain. Remeber being scared to walk too far incase I got lost. . And couldnt find my way home.
My first house was a nice wooden house about 8x5. it also had a rather large wheat farm and a guidance tower in construction which i then proceeded to fall off and kill myself. Of course at the time i was a total noob and built my house miles from bloody nowhere. I lost my house and ragequit the world

I wouldn't call it a house, as such, but my first "dwelling" on the server was a 3x2 dirt hole that I hastily made when the sun started going down. I spent the night hiding from zombies and skeletons that knew I was there because they kept scratching around my hideout.
There was also a Flightster lurking about because it was my first time on the server. I'm sure he was snickering behind his keyboard as I cowered in my warren.
[Edited due to an errant comma... I have grammar OCD]
First single player house: a dirt shack with a few planks of wood based in a snow world (this was before biomes when you had a random chance of the whole world being snowy)
First CFUK house: A 10x10 wooden tower with a glass front.
-i build my first SP house in a ountain... i had singleplayercommands and toomanyitems.... i it still looked like Griefers
-My first CF|UK house was 2 maps ago i think. It was a little 3x5 house with 2 floors right next to nand's island.

my first sp house was a huge tower in the air.
my first CFUK house was a small wooden shack next to my friend's wooden shack.
[Mod edit: Deleted double post]
My first house was a little cabin right next to the spawn. The spawn at the time was just a little building. It was right next to a pit of sorts. I planted trees around it because I had trouble finding trees.
first house on singleplayer : dirt box 4x4x4
first house on crazy-fools : wooden box about 20x10x5
My first SP house, as far as I can remember was just a single-floored wooden house, roughly 10x6 with only a couple blocks of head room. Had a ladder down to a cave, with an added stream and a (one way...) rail line to another outpost.
For MP, though, I made a leaning tower out of cobble and glass that was rounded on one side, flat on the other, with a waterfall along on the hanging side. Kind of funny looking...no screenshots, though.
I'm not much for building a lot, unfortunately...

Hole in the ground, both on SP and on CF
No actually on CF I started by covering an island with torches, the digging came later, and it wasn't until I found a particularly epic cave that I really started to go underground. The funny thing now is how much grief it caused me trying to make a safe enterance, the first time I broke through was at ceiling height and I hadn't properly figured out the gravel drop method so I lost a full set of armor by falling in then having no way to retrieve my stuff. The second breakthrough was too low and ended up in another tunnel below it. I think the third try actually hit floor level. Since then it seemed logical to build a farm underground, eventually I might move the cows down into a cave, clear the island and use it for a decorative build.
Single player I mostly relied on tunnels near the surface, didn't realise the importance of ladders and mineshafts, and the nearest thing to a house was the creeper resistant bunker I built in cobble as a tunnel entrance.
