For some reason when I try to connect the server says I'm banned.

If you have just tried to join now then chances are you were involved in a bulk ip ban for compromised accounts. In any case i'd advise changing your password.

This is my first time joining, and I've never had any problems with compromises.

It may be a mistake then broonie (Admin) will probably fix it ; if it is a mistake of course.

Oh, okay. Also, it's a problem with the Tekkit server.

The servers are linked using a profile system so if you get unbanned then you can access both (if you want to). Most plugins are coded by broonie and staff so are unique so if i were you id stick around. There is cross server chat between vinilla and tekkit aswell so you can be part of both.

Ah alright. I like small servers, and I like tekkit, so you can tell how much I'll like a small tekkit server. Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait a bit to get on, aren't I.

Well probably not tonight admin is on the UK time zone but tomorrow for sure i'd say.

Oh alright. I'm a few hours behind them, so yeah.

This server has over 3500 linked members and has been going for over 2 years . It isn't that small .

Megas right but i think that we have around 15-20 members active on each side of the server at different points is what he (or she?) means

I mean it's not like those servers that have like 65 or 82 people on at a time. Also, when you next see the admin can you ask him about this problem?

We retrieved an account list of hacked accounts and passwords from a griefing community, your account was one of them in more than one list.

We banned all accounts in these lists as a security precaution.

Even though you may be 100% sure, please change your Minecraft account password.
