Hello good Crazy-fools!
I'm 100% certain that none of you will know who I am, but for those who do, if you're observant you would of noticed I haven't been on the server for quite a while. Mainly down to internet issues and computer issues.
So, does anyone have any recommendations for some really high res texture packs ?(64x upwards). Having a new computer I really want to make minecraft look really nice.
Cheers
Joe
Check out the faithful texture pack. Its meant to simply be a higher resolution version of the default textures.
I agree with Discharge, the faithful is a really high quality version of the default textures and just makes the game look a little better, I would suggest Docm77 version of the faithful above it though as it has better water and lava textures
I will have to look in to these. And I agree Q, I just want to see what my PC can handle.
Textures like Misas Realistic and DokuCraft are very good and high Res for Building and experiencing builds in at a high standard.
For Adventuring, John smith possibly or the texture pack known as Skyrim which is very highly detailed.
I've just tried the Faithful 32x32, and I'm amazed.
I will have to look into the others as soon as I get some spare time.
Try Sphax, 256 or 512, and if those aren't possible try 126,
There's also minecraft enhanced Which I quite like
I downloaded this Faithful texture pack but the netherrack shows up as water. Any idea's on how to fix this?
Have you used the Mcpatcher Ohan? If not I think the textures get all screwed up.
I've just tried the Sphax BD craft and I like the look of that. I'm going to be trying the Misa 64x64.
Ive always used default or alt gamers "Rival Flame". Id love to run a fancy one but i doubt my computer could handle it!
