That sums me up completely. Why bother trying to do perfect english when people can easily understand what your saying without being perfect(Its been proven that you don't need words to be spelt with the correct letters, they just need to have the same overall "look" for your brain to work out what the word is).I DO think that if English is your first language and you can't grasp basic grammar, you're not trying hard enough.

The problem isn't with those that have small grammatical errors. The problem comes when you don't know enough grammar for your context to be clear. We mostly understand people who speak English somewhat well, but sometimes we come across people with so bad grammar that understanding them becomes difficult.
That sums me up completely.
