I know everyone's busy with 1.8, but if you have Steam, and you don't own Portal (the first one) it is FREE for the next few days.

I suggest you go set it downloading, you can play it when you get bored of 1.8!

It's one of Valve's throwaway games that cost them relatively little to make and made them a crap-ton of money unexpectedly, so they can afford to give it away from time to time. I have Team Fortress 2 for the same reason... although I'm yet to play it.
