Once upon a time my computer wasn't connecting to the internet and couldn't be fixed without a complete system wipe. So I wiped it. And then Minecraft didn't work after everything I had was reinstalled. Problem is, I'm not this computer's original owner, and don't know what my older brother (aforesaid original owner) did to the computer that made it run the games I like (MC,RS,RoM,LoL,etc.). So now whenever I attempt to play run Minecraft on the website or downloaded version, I get this:
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

tl;dr version:
My computer won't run Minecraft. Help me fix it please?
"This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers."
I know Flight. ^^ I've followed tutorial videos and read guides but none seem to have worked. -.- I suppose that's why there's a 'usually' in there.
Do you know which video card you have offhand?
Have you run windows update and gotten all the latest updates, patches, etc through that yet?
And have you tried the latest version of Java? (or.. v7?)
Yup Java claims I have the current best version for my system.
Issue has been resolved \o/
