oh you should so make this. ill lend a hand if you need it mate
Some basic and rough planning.
Its 13 traingles so now all i need is a scale and a huge bit o land.
Here's a free tip:
I made a few mazes back in the times when I was an op on another server.
What I learned is that mazes which can be solved by the good old follow-the-right-hand-wall are boring.
The fix to that problem is easy: Think three-dimensionally. Rather than making one huge flat floor, make two, or more, floors, with the stairs leading to upper floors on "islands" so that it's impossible to apply the follow-the-right-hand-wall method.
Just my ten cents, I don't want to tell people how to play this game, but consider it a helpful hint. : )
I solved it! Now it's time to memorize the pattern!
...im doomed if i ever set foot in that maze xD
What is it going to be made out of? Leaves?

I'm really looking forward to trying this maze out when it is done. It would be aMAZEing.
What could work as greif alert is the following, Use a stone floor, place sand as the walls, then on top of those walls, cacti, and above the entire maze have a glass floored observation deck. This way if someone cheats or griefs they would have to either place another block to go over the wall (and in that process knock over cacti) or just dig the sand, meaning they get rid of the cacti and the sand. And by noticing Cacti are missing from parts of the wall it can be used as a grief alert. At least its a better solution than just walking around for hours.
That's a good idea, but if you want more of a deterrent you can make lava traps out of the walls.
It might need quite a bit of lava, though...

My guess would be Jack-O-Lanterns, for enlightement. : )
That's not an equilateral triangle!
Yep, definitely not an equilateral triangle. That is in fact a right-angles isosceles triangle.
To be honest though, equilateral triangles would be extremely difficult to make in minecraft...
I'm very bad at all vocabulary referring to trigonometrics in English, but I can also see that is not an equilateral triangle.
How ever, the original plan by Michael was not an equilateral triangle to begin with, and, from what info I gathered, he tried not to do one.
Isoskeletons can go and shoot themselves in their bony arses. : )
you gonna take my idea of an oasis as an exit area?
