Morning Lads,
What a waste of time that was, i stayed up til 4am to wait for the release of minecraft 360, it didnt come.
So i went to bed, setting my alarm for 8:00am...got up .. its now 9am, still no release! lol
Fail!
^^ Beat me too it.
You will be limited on what you can do on the 360. So goodluck.
Oh, and would u be able to get on this server? lol nope.
No point dude
Being the dedicated podcaster that I am, I've just purchased the game, and will force myself to play it in order to talk about it on Saturday.
The things I do for you people.
Initial reports say the game is very well done, a good port job from the 3rd party hired to make it. Experienced PC Minecraft players say that it feels just like the PC version, with smoother frame rates. The comment I see most often is "once you get used to the controller.... its virtually the same".
One thing I did note in a couple videos I saw, the minecarts are insanely fast compared to the PC version. That, and the new crafting system is... well, odd. It just gives you all the items you can craft in a list.... no need for the work bench at all, but it still shows the user interface for the work bench, and shows the recipes as you craft things.
Also, it must have been highly anticipated in the Xbox world, Notch tweeted that the game was "profitable in just over an hour". That means, if he is taking into account all the associated costs, like porting, promotion, and salaries for his own staff to support the game.... the game sold like hotcakes.
Nice to see a quality port so more people can enjoy this game, and not just a pure money-grab as some ports obviously are.
tbh nothing wrong with it being put into consoles. just most people will prefer it on the pc.
Tbh congrats to Mojang though for bringing the game on this far and to this level where its hitting main stream consoles!
it cant really be on consoles until its on ps3 and Wii
