Quick reminder....spawn market square plots are for markets only, not houses or other purposes. Also, only one plot can be owned per person at a time.

There was an initial land rush after the spawn opened up, and the plots were free at the time. But, that was for unimproved land. Now there is a market on it and a fully developed market square. There are no more empty lots available in that market area. Its value lies not only in the building, but also the now-exclusive location. I hardly think it should just be given away, but you are free to do so, of course.
