I Just wanted to see what the community thought about certain game companies. And so I decided to look at the company catalogues available on steam. Which I do know, does not reflect the entire market of games, however, it does represent a reasonable amount of what is available on the PC market.

And so here is a list of the available companies.




Download, and edit in paint what you think of each company, or just write a little rant. I just want to see how people see each company differently or alike.

Here is mine however,

Red- Indicates that I have found their service so bad that I shouldn't buy from them again (probably will though).

Orange- Being that their catalogue means nothing to me,.

Yellow- Being that I was interested once and blank is that I will look into any future game.

Green- I'll probably buy it without much research into the game. That I trust it to be a good game.

The three you put for green, Aconan, are some of my favorite game companies. I hate EA, and I would put two red lines through it. I've bought EA games before because they seemed like great games, but I found the games very buggy and they had terrible customer service. All EA cares about is money. To me, the new SimCity game that is coming out in 2013 looks fun, and I might buy it, but I might not since EA is publishing it. Maxis always made good games (before they were bought out by EA) IMO, but I don't know how much EA will affect the quality of the game. Anyway, I might make one of those things once I have enough time.

Good choice in crossing out Activision, and in greenlining Bethesda.

I must say, im greenlining 2K games and kalypso, one of my favourite games is the civilisation series, and also, i really like the Tropico games from kalypso too

i agree with EA they used to be cool but now they are a bunch of D**** my daughters game spore was made by them and i had no trouble with it until they brought that pile of S*** they call origin now the final expansion wont even install (oh and before anyone asks the disks knackered)

Blue means i've NEVER heard of them.
the blue ring means that i am shocked they actually make games.
Purple means i NEVER want them to make another game as i will go on a rampageand kill everyone who works for them.
White means that i have had issues and they have made SOME decent games. But im not sure if i would buy from them again.
Yellow means that i LOVE them and want them to bring out more games.

I have had run ins with the customer helpline with all company's with the white line.
