I made this video on my old channel on youtube, i had completely forgot about it until i had an email from youtube itself saying that my video had gained enough views for youtube to ask for a partnership, i went to look and almost collapsed at the number of views lol!

That's pretty good Powelly - wish I could knock up something like that!

I've had loads of ideas for video clips, but never been able to rip clips from DVD's (apart from once - and it never worked again after that!), plus my PC is so old and knackered, all my editing software tends to crash once you've created more than 30 seconds of video, regardless of the program!

I only have a few vids on YT - not with that many views (a few thousand for the ones that are more simple, weirdly enough). I've only just uploaded a clip I made years ago - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKzp4YKAO5g&feature=youtu.be - which is probably my best edit to date (but only a simple music overlay). It must have taken you ages to get all those video clips compiled together and in time with your soundtrack!?!

Do you mind me asking what software you are using? It's just there are now so many "decent looking" programs out there, it's hard to pick which ones are actually any good?!? :S (and hopefully in the next few months I'll be getting a new PC )

Tbh with you soul, i jut used standard windows live movie maker on windows 7 lol, and all the clips i got from a site called movieclips.com, so i didnt have to burn the disc!

Ok cool - New PC will have windows 7, so will have to have a play ... and the movieclips site looks useful

Yeah, only thing with movieclips.com is that all these clips have licensing policies, some clips cant be powpsted on youtube while some can, just be carefl thats all!

nice powelly.... atm i just film clips from laptop of disc drives but it can be laggy sometimes, so i'll give movie clips a look
