The Title Tells You All ~

It's basically something that people can use to "like" or "dislike" a poster.. So if you post something, and people like it, they can rate it 10 stars or if they don't like it: 1 star.

You can go to people's profile (click on their name) and rate it there.

Seems to be based upon number of posts

I think he means the gold stars under your name and picture.

It is based on the number of posts.

Not sure yet Zach... SampleName has 5 stars and he's the most active poster on here with 330 posts.

Hmmm, I was looking at the top posters, and I noticed that I have a considerably less amount of posts than I did in the past. I know I had at least 330+ (As Tuatha stated earler in this forum) but now it shows I only have 285. I'm pretty sure I had hit at least 400 posts or so, not quite sure though.
Was there some sort of reset that I missed?

I dunno if the forum prunes out old topics, so I have no clue.

A couple days ago I chatted with another user and eventually came to the topic on how they apparently they can't find a particular thread they recall making.

Maybe just manually deleted topics. *Shrug*

The post counter still updates with each comment I post. It looks as if other's forum post number went down as well, including Broonies's.

I deleted old topics that had no real value (server down x 1000, locked topics, etc) or had screens in them that were no longer hosted. As you might have noticed, server discussion was filled with these.

Hence why people's post count went down, which isn't the end of the world.. You're still #1

There are two ratings I think. One based on user reviews, I seem to be disliked lol. And the other is post count.

Ya, deleting topics reduces post count. Perhaps a better idea would be to close them instead.

Overall there is ten ranks, each with their own special title.

Top rank comes at 10,000 posts.
