This is pretty neat (and very technical). Basically they take an existing video, and using this algorithm they can amplify the changes in certain aspects of the video - be it minute colour changes, or minute motion.

The best bit about it was they have released the algorithm to the general public for free - so others can develop from it.

The only concern I have, is this could be seen as one step closer to war machines capable of spotting you breathing or your pulse from miles away! (Que the Terminator film intro music)
