I don't know why it works out like this, most of the time we're hoping for a warm summer and when finally we get one it seems like its no fun.

Its probably humidity, once it gets much past 11am it seems hard to stay dry.

I think its more to do with acclimatization, here in Italy where I am it has been hot hot for quite a while, I love it and which it could stay like this, I always feel fitter and healthier when it is hot.

I'm in turkey and I've been so badly sunburnt my skin is blistered and looks like a lizards , other than that the warm is nice enough

Wales isn't too bad should be cooler around britian next week

storming here in Scotland now. Should clear the air and make the hot days more bearable.

Here it's really hot, then we get heavy storms like u Draze and everything cools down a bit, then cycle starts again..
But I don't mind the heat, I just turn air conditioning on and set climate to my liking

lucky. we Brits dont have AC since 90% of the year is wetter than an olympic swimmers butt crack.

For the first time in several years I actually decided to buy fans for around the house. Best buy yet! has actually made the heat bearable around the house.

At work on the other hand brutal doesn't quite cut it...
Standing under a car with a lovely hot engine above your head while wearing fire resistant clothing is grim!

Otherwise all fun and games At least some people are enjoying it!

We just had first tornadoes ever recorded in our history few days ago and tonight.. climate is on some good drugs here..
some blame the HAARP systems for experimantal weather control that where setup on our soil..
we had hail size of a size 9 shoe, which we also never had before that intense..

I'm in a similar boat to Quotsa ... except I'm working over hot helicopter engines outside in the blazing sunshine (or torrential downpours). With all my work gear on I'm often "hot and sticky" all day long at work - which really isn't fun!

However, when the days are not so humid and there's a nice breeze, it's quite nice at work or out walking the dog

Having a ceiling fan in my room helps too
