Try using the old launcher if you still have a copy - its FAR more reliable.
Eh? Even if the login attempt fails the new launcher will switch the buttons to "Try Again" and "Play Offline" o_O, same as the old one.

Yeah exactly Shin. I think that the fact it's still in testing isn't good enough. Don't release something if it's going to fail. Do your job and know that it's going to fail and fix it before releasing it.
Yeah I had that problem D, but hey ho, at least now it works on the old one.
Apparently it is due to so many people clicking log in that it is overloading the server set aside for the new launcher.
Something along those lines.
Well I have the old one now, will wait and see when people stop having problems.
. I qonder what that new launcher is doing to try and authenticate players, seems ridiculous that before a game update the launcher would at least occasionally connect properly then afterwards have a 100% fail rate when connecting, to me a game update shouldn't affect a launcher's login functions, but what do I know :/.
