we will change the recruitement process as of now to something more flexible and better.
if a player wants to join ASA, he will have to get a recommendation from two former members of the clan. that means, two members have to recommend the new recruit to 404thread or squarepantz.
this is how it works:
player1 wants to join ASA. he asks rob54613 for a recommendation. rob will set the tests/demands whatever and if he is happy with player1, he will recommend player 1 to squarepantz.
player1 then contacts army_aa. army_aa wants player1 to gather intel from the ROM base. player1 does this, but army_aa isn't quite satisfied yet... he also wants player1 to mine out his own personal 50x50x3 mob spawner room. player1 does this and army recommends him to 404thread. player1 is now a member of ASA.
this will draw the clan closer together because every new member will already know atleast two members.

introduction to ASA:
ASA has a long and rich history on the CF:UK server consisting of violence, bloodshed and Sparta. you may have heard of ASA or ASTA(Asa Supported Trade Organisation). founded late 2010 by 404thread, squarepantz and Mortenzlol, asa is one of the most feared and respected forces known to the CF:UK community. during the last era of PVP, ASA participated in pillaging, manslaughter and epic battles of awesomesauce caliber with the CF:UK staff.
this time around, ASA is headed against a new direction. the winds of change have once again swept over the PVP playground as members get a call for duty to meet the harsh requirements of modern warfare. no longer will the sheer number of players determine the outcome of the battles.
ASA consist of elite soliders who are aware of the game mechanics and use them cleverly to gain an advantage.
ASA members are lethal in close combat aswell as from a distance. ASA members are born to kill. ASA members never back down and never stop perfecting their skills. ASA members are organised and will make you suffer if advocated. ASA members are never alone.
the current free spots in ASA ranks are as follows:
*demoman (TNT expert)
*assassin (rogue missions, undercover espionage)
*pyromaniac (expertise in using unorthodox methods of killing, such as lava and lighter)
*the riddler (specialisation in laying traps)
these ranks are free for grabs, but follow with some responsibilities.
ASA can offer you unlimited resources, an end-game experience and a massive boost to your understanding of the game mechanics. ASA is well funded.
a new era is upon us, the era of ASA. an era that will once again change the course of history of this server.

Alex, ASA (Agent Smith's Army) is a clan run by 404thread. It is a PvP (Player vs Player) clan, and basically just kills people / has wars and whatnot.
Feel free to elaborate further.
From the sounds of this recruitment process i'd rather join the real army. Less creepers
