TS last night suggested Broonie has confirmed we're able to take over 1 double chest + inventory, but I've yet to hear it from him.

It is confirmed. I asked "So broonie will the chest we will take be a double chest or a normal sized chest?"
He replyed with "Yes a double chest" And then someone asked about a inv and he confrimed that to.

Yeah, in the long run it'll save me time and resources. Think about how long it takes to make lots of chests for a storage room when you first start out. Especially since a wood kit will only give you a few chests.

Plus I need somewhere to put all these items I'm taking over!

Yeah, I like having lots of ink sacks. Plus, I usually end up needing lots of it for projects, or giving it away to those who do as well.

Heh, everyone collects something.

I would collect rails, but a stack of iron blocks produces a whole lot more rails than a stack of rails. I am brining a few stacks of powered rails though, so save some gold.

FYI to people who are doing blocks of gold, iron or diamond – often it saves space just to keep them as individual pieces, unless you have a round number of diamonds or over 64.

This is my chest so far. It changes everyday, as I've spent most of my time on the server since hearing about the impending new map gathering resources to take with me.





It will doubtless change before 1.8. I hear tell that our inventory will move with us too, so I'll probably move as many less valuable items (tools, signs, etc) over there to make space for more diamondz, gold, tnt, etc.

And Psychosis; nothing can be for certain, but we're pretty sure there will be a map change, AND that we'll be allowed to take one double chest of valuables with us. And no, you do not have to take a picture and show us. This part is just for fun.
