Since the 16th, my Minecraft client has been constantly crashing, randomly. Sometimes it happens right after a warp, sometimes just if I'm standing around afk in my base. Often its a simple "out of memory" error, that forces me to close the client myself, but also, I get CTD's (crash to desktop, no warning or errors).

So far, 3 others have also noticed and mentioned this, blazeboy91, beagrie, and shrapnel110. I don't think we are alone in this either. Anyone else having this problem? CTD's, out of memory issues? Note, this is not the same bug as the client freeze, which has been reported on the Minecraft Wiki as a known bug (screen, mouse, sound, everything in MC freezes, requires ctl-alt-del to kill the process).

This just started happening last night randomly, and happens no matter how many people are online, or what I am doing at the time.

What mods have you guys been installing? It might be a map or something on those lines. Backup your worlds and such and delete the .minecraft folder, then run minecraft again.

I don't use any mods, never have. I even use default texture pack. Also, I re-downloaded minecraft from scratch, didn't help.

It does seem to have stopped crashing all the time, though. But only in the past couple of hours. Weird. Could be a lag problem, as I noticed people on Team Speak (after that started working today) cutting in and out just before the crashing.

I had problem similar to this a while ago. It sounds like you have a RAM issue. The way to fix this is to download the latest java in 32bit AND 64bit. Worked for me and worth a try for you guys.
