Revivale’

Hello my friends on this fine server. Recently, it seems as
if CotM has been dying. I looked deeply into this dilemma, and found two
problems

1.Clan
Interface (ex. Joining, layout) is too confusing, causing new members to get
lost

2.The clan is not active and doesn’t have any “events” to speak  of

However, Revivale’ is here to fix that!                                                           
What is Revivale’?

In a nutshell, Revivale’ is the resurrection and rejuvenation
of CotM. It is my attempt of saving CotM. With it shall come many things, such as·

Clan Map·        
Our own website·        
Rule overhaul·        
Secret Project!                                                       
                                                            
     What is CotM?

 CotM (Clan of the Multiverse) is a peaceful clan. We have
many resources, from farms to a resource center that holds almost anything you
could ever need. It is a fun place to live (or just visit occasionally, you
don’t have to live there to be a part of CotM); and it has been described as “a
town, only closer knit” and “I like the almost “tribe” thing you got going
there.” It is located in the mountains, about -3000 blocks from spawn on the
south rail, near the staff base, CUTM, and Fullartins “ghost town.” If you are
interested at all, read on.                                            

So you wanna join CotM?Before you join CotM, you must read and agree to the rules.
After reading them, simply tell me or a beta, and you are free to join. Our
rules can be found in the clan hall, further down this forum below, or on our
website.                              

Our Rules and Warning System:Our rules are as follows:

 

1.After your first house, please stick to its general “plot” and do not make other
builds (ex. Shop, 2^nd house, etc.) without permission from Alpha or
beta

2. If you have Ideas to improve the clan or for clan builds, post them below or on
our forums and I will have everyone vote on them if I decide it is a good idea.

3.Any and all CFUK server rules apply

4.Absolutely no private mineshafts! The communal one is there for a reason.

5. Please respect others space, and don’t build too close to their home.

6.Do not destroy others builds

7. Ifyour build causes too much controversy, you will be asked to remove it.

8.No player traps, pointless lag machines, etc.

9.Please keep your housing to reasonable limits. No overly tall/big houses or builds

10. We are a clan, not a town, so please don’t be selfish, and respect your fellow
clanmates

11. Please don’t overuse the resource center

12. The Alpha’s word is Law

13. Breaking the clan or server rules will get you warned. Three warnings will get you
kicked out of CotM

14. I have the right to warn you for any action not listed here if I feel it is
punishable

15. These rules can change, based on circumstances.                         
Our Warning Policy

For breaking any of the rules above, our warning policy is as
follows:

1^st warning: Verbal warning

2^nd warning: Death, Items Confiscated for clan
till

3^rd warning: Exile from CotM

These are clan warnings, not server          

CotM has many things to offer to its members, such as events,
clan builds, and ranks. I will go over each as such

Here at CotM, we have several ranks for those who want them.
Mind you, they’re not mandatory; you can be carefree if you wish. They are as
follows:

Alpha:  heh, dream on, the one and only Alpha is me. I would likely
nominate one of my betas up if I ever decide to leave, but if I was planning to
leave, why would I be writing this?

Beta: 2^nd in command, helps me
keep order in the clan. They can recruit or warn members, and are my most
trusted advisors. Think of them as the Mods of CotM. Must be nominated to this
job

Hunter/Warrior: The fighters of the clan. Open to
those who are willing to die for their clanmates in battle, and fight for the
good. Not for the faint of heart.

Omega: For those who are willing to help.
The job of an omega is to collect resources for the clan and for others. For
those who love feeling good for helping others, this is the rank for you.

*Wanderer: A good traveler can find their
bearings from anywhere. To be a Wanderer, you must be good at keeping your
bearings, remembering landmarks, and finding your way home. In fact, at times
the whole clan will be relying on you to do so. Must pass test to earn this
rank

*Remnants of the Whispers: Called
“Remnants” for short; these are the miners of the clan. They are the
descendants of an ancient tribe who; due to an event known only as “The  Great Change”, which happened Henceforth on
September 8^th, 2011; were forced to leave the only home they had
ever known, the Cave of Whispers. Those who wish to join this elusive rank must
be good with navigating caves, avoiding treacheries such as lava and other
beasties, and finding the valuable minerals found deep below. Must pass test to
earn this rank      

I’ve heard this so many times it makes my ears burn. The
people who are Betas, I’m entrusting the fate of the clan to them while I’m
away. It is an elusive position, only given to those who deserve it and can
handle it. Also, just as a pre-warning, if you ask to be beta; I’m less likely
to choose you when the time rolls around.     
 Events vs. Clan builds. What’s the Difference?

Events are set times when the clan
comes together to do something; like a spleef tournament or a Raffle. Clan
builds, on the other hand, is where the entire clan comes together to build
something amazing. All members are asked to help; however it is not mandatory
and you shall not be punished if you do not or cannot help. Info on clan builds
and events shall be posted on this forum and also on the CotM webpage. Events
are funded for by the clan till.                         
Whats A Clan Till?

The clan till is a chest(s) of resources owned by the clan
and is used for currency to buy materials for clan projects and as currency for
contests and such. Stealing from the clan till is a felony and will result in immediate
removal from CotM. Materials go into the till from weekly events (more about
those at the end of this forum) or by donating resources to it by giving those
resources to an Alpha or Beta as a donation to the clan till (any semi-Precious
resources are welcome)                  

 A Website you Say?Yes. CotM now has its own official website. You can find it
at http://www.revivale.com. It is a great place where you can post ideas,
pictures, and the like without it getting lost among all the posts of CFUK.
Please, if you are a member of CotM, sign up on the website. If you don’t, you
will miss some of the exclusive events only announced there.

 

*note: the website is not quite ready yet, we are still doing some finishing touches
