So I was making my triple spawner skeleton mob grinder, and two of the spawners I found were located in abandonded caves. So after building the mob-avators and spawning rooms two of the spawners got stuck on cave-spiders.
So, bug or feature?
(If it is a bug is it fixeable?)
And it all got blown to pieces, fun.
I thought spawners were always for a specific mob type. The cave might still spawn skeletons and zombies if its dark but a spider spawner only spawns spiders.
donators/vips could change mobspawner types with a golden sword right?
I think its a bug and if Broonie has some time id love to see this working again
Yeah its a bug, happens to me a lot. There's nothing you can really do until Broonie fixes it. Don't keep changing them though because they may blow up.
For what it's worth yep it applies to tekkit, but also suffers from the same glitch. (ie sticking on Cave Spiders)
